Exploring handbuilding with coils

Course details

Going large and using stains to explore the fluidity and versatility of coils! When we say large we mean large! Our newly operational ceramics kiln "BIG ANT" is a massive 277 litres, that's 71cm wide and 68cm high! Coiling is an ancient method of handbuilding that is really versatile - any shape you want to make can probably be made in coils. In this six week course you will use coiling techniques to design and create large, abstract, contemporary forms. All tools, equipment, materials and kiln firings included.

We can't offer refunds for courses and classes booked, but if, for any reason, you can't attend the whole course your booking can be transferred to a future course or a voucher can be issued to be used at a later date.
