Family Fun: Self Portrait Sculpture

Course details

Come and spend some quality creative family fun time at Create CIC! Bring your children to make yourself in clay! You and your children can explore fun and fantastic ways to explore self portraiture! Sculpture, as an art form, has a long history, and the human figure has been a basic subject of sculpture since its earliest beginnings. Each human face and figure is distinct, and artists throughout history have always been fascinated by this uniqueness. You will have a chance to explore your own image in clay working with slip and armature and you will create a unique self portrait. Each two hour workshop is designed for you and your children to experience pottery together. All children must be accompanied by an adult. £15 per adult plus £5 per child (maximum four children per adult). Please note we will work in a clay that can air dry for you to take your creations with you. Or, for an additional £5 we can glaze and fire for later collection.

Cancellation Policy

We can't offer refunds for courses and classes booked, but if, for any reason, you can't attend the whole course your booking can be transferred to a future course or a voucher can be issued to be used at a later date.
