Come along to this fun and friendly workshop to get a taste of lampwork bead-making. Hot glass bead-making is an extremely absorbing, satisfying craft with huge creative potential and range. Heat, melt, form, shape and decorate glass beads and shapes. Make your own glass beads by melting coloured rods in an open flame. The beads will then be kiln annealed ready for collection within a week. Helen will talk through health and safety and demonstrate lampworking and how to make a glass bead. Under Helen's expert tuition you will then be able to experiment with this exciting method. Please wear old clothing, with long sleeves and if possible a high neck, because the hot glass can sometimes spit. Small group with a maximum of four participants for intensive and quality tuition.
