We have secured funding from Camborne Town Deal to design a sculpture garden in the courtyard at the front of the Donald Thomas Centre here in Camborne. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the streetscape of Camborne and we'd love your suggestions and design ideas. As part of this design process we are running a series of FREE mosaic taster workshops on Saturdays in October and November. Meet artist Alec Rice and learn about how he made Lifeblood, the amazing community mosaic in our toilets, which tells the story of Camborne through the Red River, as well as installations at Camborne station and in Redruth, and make your own mini mosaic to take home with you. No experience necessary. All tools, equipment and materials provided. And you get to take your own unique tile home with you! Reservation advisable but not essential.
