Course details

In this special six week course you will explore the varied effects normally created by outside firing. You will use hand building techniques developed in the beginners course to produce pieces to fire using this unique and exciting method. Using organic materials and oxides the smoke produced impregnates and decorates your pots. This unique method uses an electric kiln to produce effects akin to outside smoke firing. All tools, equipment and materials included and you get to take home your unique hand crafted pieces once they have been fired. This course is for you if you'd like to develop skills learnt on the beginners course or have experience of this method and would like to explore it further.

We can't offer refunds for courses and classes booked, but if, for any reason, you can't attend the whole course your booking can be transferred to a future course or a voucher can be issued to be used at a later date.
