Four Week Creative Course Let your child’s creativity flourish in this fun and hands-on pottery course designed especially for young makers. Held during term time every Tuesday from 1.30 - 3pm, this four-week after school club offers a playful introduction to clay, design, and decoration - all for just £12.50 per session. 🌟 New enrollment every 4 weeks with exciting new projects each term - perfect for curious minds and creative hands. No experience needed, just a love for making! 🌟 Each piece made will be bisque fired and glazed, ready to take home and treasure! 🗓️ Course overview: Week 1 - Pinch Pots - learn how to create a pinch pot, test wall thickness, and explore its purpose - will it hold flowers, pencils, or simply be decorative? Week 2 - Design & Decorate - with their pot formed, it’s time to get creative! Techniques include: choosing colours - painting scenes - sgraffito carving - paper resist - clay embellishments. Week 3 – Cups & Handles - roll and cut clay to form a cup, then design and attach their own handle—guided by techniques or their own imagination. Week 4 – Final Touches - once the clay has firmed up, it’s time to decorate! Kids will carve into their cups and add a splash of colour for a truly beautiful finish. 🌟 All materials and firings included.
