A small group throwing course for all levels. Whether you're a complete beginner, have a little experience or would like to perfect and develop your skills, this intensive course is for you. If you're a complete beginner you will learn how to prepare your clay, centre on the wheel and throw to a standard shape so that you can achieve great results every time. If you have some experience or have already completed our 'Learn to Throw' course you will learn to refine and alter forms and add handles. Because the group size is a maximum of four people, experienced production thrower Hugh Hobson can tailor his tuition exactly to your needs and experience. £190 for a four week course starting Saturday 24 January 2026 10am - 12.30 All materials and equipment provided. Small groups: maximum four people per course. Small class size so limited places available. Taught by former production thrower Hugh Hobson. Includes one FREE open studio sessions to practice, and to glaze your pieces.
