It's never too late to learn something new.

Why not ignite your artistic passion with Create CIC at the Camborne Contemporary Crafts Hub?

Autumn courses announced!

Our programme of autumn courses, running for six weeks from September and November, are now open to book on our website.

Starting on Monday 6th September Helen will be running Introduction to Fused Glass, a fun and friendly course to learn how to explore different ways to manipulate glass into creative forms. You will start with the basics of health and safety, firing and working with different kinds of glass, and go on to develop skills in cutting, hanging, relief, bending and patterns.

Jane will be running Introduction to Ceramics Hand Building starting on Tuesday 7th September. If you're a complete beginner, or want to improve or refresh your skills, join this six week course to learn the basics of hand building with clay. You will work with pinch, coil and slab construction, and with various methods of decoration including texture, oxides, slip, sgraffito, marbling and glazing.

Both courses run in the afternoon from 2-4pm and again in the evening from 6-8pm, so you can sign up for whichever suits you better. All tools and materials are included and you get to take home your unique works of art at the end!
