Welcome to our second newsletter. It's been another exciting month for us here at Create CIC! We have been working hard to transform the Donald Thomas Centre into a contemporary crafts hub. And now we have our new sign outside you can't miss us!

Summer workshops announced!
Our programme of summer workshops, running throughout August, are now open to book on our website.
Jane and Helen will be running introductory classes in glass engraving and mosaic making, so come along and make pot stand, plaque, nameplate or set of glasses with your own unique design. Book on our website.
Camborne Fun Friday!
A day of free family friendly drop in sessions at the Camborne Contemporary Crafts Hub! Friday 27 August 2021 Come and try your hand at glass engraving, mosaics, and creative card making. Free and open to all ages and there's no experience necessary. All equipment, tools and refreshments are included and you get to take home your creation when you've finished! Supported by BID Camborne as part of their series of Fun Fridays throughout the summer holidays.
Another kiln delivery!
Thank you to artist Anthony Fagin for the very generous donation of a large ceramics kiln, which will give artists and makers the opportunity to create amazing new work. And thanks again to the guys from Acland Plant Hire for overcoming the logistics of getting the equipment into our wonderful, but old and quirky building.
Jewellery workstations ready for makers!
The first of our creative incubator spaces are ready to rent. For £150/month jewellers can rent a workspace at the Camborne Contemporary Crafts Hub and be here right at the beginning of building our vibrant creative community. The space includes access to specialist equipment including an enamelling kiln, rolling mill, polisher, tumbler and acid bath.
