Have a Creative Christmas at Camborne Contemporary Crafts Hub

Make your own personalised decorations and gifts!

Make your own Christmas decorations or book a class as a unique Christmas gift.

Introducing our new tutors!

Having trained as a marine engineer, Barnabas Taylor naturally decided a career in jewellery was the best way forwards! Being self taught helps him to understand beginners and the problems faced by those who are inexperienced in craft work. No matter what level you are at, Barnabas will enable you to create something you are proud of. Sally Caslake discovered silver clay around five years ago and loves the way you can create beautiful pieces with minimum tools. And Deborah Rice is a jeweller specialising in silver wire wrapping. She creates stunning unique intricate pieces of wearable art.

Christmas classes announced!

Make your own Christmas decorations in fused glass and porcelain, or try jewellery making with our NEW wire wrapping, silver clay and silver ring making classes.

On Wednesday 1st December Jane will be making beautiful unique porcelain decorations and Christmas tags using the very finest of clay, and on Wednesday 8th December she will be making fused glass decorations. These are both a fun and friendly classes which don't require any previous experience. Helen will also be running fused glass decorations classes, at 2pm and 6pm on Monday 13th December.

The first session with one of our new tutors is wire wrapping technique with Deborah Rice on Monday 6th December. Come and set your own choice of cabachon in a beautiful silver pendant or ring. On Tuesday 7th December Sally Caslake will be running a silver clay jewellery making class. Make a pendant or pair of dangly earrings that you will texture, hand fire, and polish to perfection.

And over two afternoons on 14th and 15th December Barnabas Taylor will be running a silver ring making class where you can learn to make your own fused glass cabochon and a unique silver ring to set it in.

All tools and materials are included and you get to take home your unique works of art at the end or, in the case of porcelain and glass, you can collect before Christmas, once your pieces have been fired. Book at createcic.co.uk or email angela@createcic.co.uk for a direct booking link.
